Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek Rules
600 Rules:
All track safety rules apply
TRADITIONAL 600 SPRINT STYLE BODIES ONLY! Extra plastic or lexan plastic pieces on either side of car, rear, or front opening areas are NOT permitted.
Any body panel may not extend past the body surface more than 2-1⁄4”. This includes
rear sail panels
HOOSIER U6SA RR tire ONLY
Left Rear Hoosier or American Racer any compound, same with Fronts
No tire treatment, NO TIRE DOPING OF ANY KIND FOR EITHER CLASS
NO TIRE DOPING
2024 U6SA FUEL PUMP RELAY’S ARE REQUIRED!!
IF a driver is found to have tire doped, they will lose all points for the night/week and be assessed payment fees for tire test. In addition to possible re-payment of monies earned for the night.
Tire doping guilty party will also lose all points for the week
Teams may be tested at RANDOM during the night
Official will tell team which block they want tested and team must provide sample of said block
If a driver is found to have the wrong tire on or the tire punches soft, the driver will be given the opportunity to change the tire before that race and will start in the rear with no passing points. If this happens a second time to the same driver, they will be disqualified from that race. If it happens a third time, they will be prohibited from competing in the rest of speedweek for the year.
Tire must durometer 50 before and after an event. There is a 10 minute cool down period after feature events.
No Wet grinding of tires with any products is permitted
Failure to allow Speedweek official to take tire sample, or refusal of sample will be taken as an admission of altering and the offending driver and team will be disqualified from the event.
ENGINE RULES:
U6SA engines or A-class engines are legal with the following rules:
U6SA rev limit and charging system rules apply.
Rev limit is 16,100 (16,150 max tolerance), 14,800 (14,850 max tolerance) on 06 and older model year 636cc engines (these engines must still follow U6SA engine Rules, no porting, no titanium rods, etc)
Any approved motorcycle ignition system can be used. Current approved ignitions are Stock motorcycle ECU's, PE3-8400 (Performance Electronics) & FT550 (Fuel Tech). Rev limiter must be set to a legal limit in all maps on the ECU. If a computer is hooked up to it and the tune file is downloaded or a scroll through the dash screens, all rev limits on all maps must be legal. No switch is legal to switch between tune files, gear position sensors are illegal. To submit an aftermarket ECU for approval, please email nick@hyperracing.com with all information.
Any aftermarket coils are legal.

Weight Rule 775 pounds car and driver after the race.
RACECEIVERS MANDATORY AT ALL TIMES ON TRACK
Front Bumper cannot be more than 8” past the front frame rail
Transponder location is 21” back from the center line of the front axle on the right hand side of the car, 6” above the bottom frame rail of the car.
Driver Safety
Helmets must be one piece full faced and Snell rated not to exceed three prior “Snell years” evaluated Jan. 1 of that race season. No damaged or cracked helmets.
Full SFI-3.2A/5 rated driving suits are mandatory and should be in good condition meaning no rips, tears and holes.
Arm restraints and gloves are mandatory
Neck collars or head & neck systems are mandatory and are to be worn according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
Five point belts, lap belts, shoulder belts and crotch belt are mandatory. Six point belts are optional. Minimum 5/16” bolts or proper wrap around (not on bottom rail) mounting required.
A full containment seat is highly recommended. If a full containment seat is not used, vertical or horizontal side frame, frame bars on the left and right side to protect the driver are mandatory. (Full containment seats with headrests are MANDATORY for New Jersey event at Spirit)
Fire Suppression systems are not mandatory for the series, but are HIGHLY recommended.
Fire retardant underwear, headsocks, and otherwise are not required for the week, are HIGHLY recommended. (Fire retardant underwear and clothing is MANDATORY for New Jersey event at Spirit.)
Rain Out Policy
No refunds will be issued by the track once you enter the gate regardless if the race is canceled. The track's normal wristband and ticket policy will prevail.
If a rain out occurs after Time Trials, the feature purse will be split and paid out to each flight of time trials as half of the original purse (50 Show up Points)
If a rain out occurs after all heat races are complete, the purse will be paid out to the top 26 in points between time trials and heats (50 Show Up Points)
If the feature is rained out before 10 laps have been completed, the purse will be paid out as a completed event. However, speedweek points will not be paid. Only 50 show up points.
If the feature is rained out AFTER 10 laps have been completed, the race will be deemed official. Full purse and points will be paid as usual.
All of the above are dependent upon track policies and procedures.
600 Speedweek does not guarantee ANY refunds from any tracks during the week.
