2025 SPEEDWEEK WRAP UP

The 2025 Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek was on schedule for the same seven nights of action as 2024, with the heat, lots of talented drivers, and tons of money on the line.

The 2025 edition was planned again for Spirit Auto Center, Airport Speedway, Greenwood Valley Action Track, Action Track USA, Linda’s Speedway, McGrewBid Motoplex, and Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway. Seven nights of action were slated this year, paying a whopping $2,500 to win if the driver was registered for 600 Speedweek points. Over $100,000 in cash was to be paid out over the course of the week as well as the points standings. The Junior Sprints again joined each night of action for $600 to win each night, and $1000 to win the championship.

Unfortunately Airport and Action Track were lost to weather, but 5 nights of action were completed. The average car count for the 600 class during the week was 86 cars, with a high car count of 94 at Greenwood Valley. The Junior Sprints saw record numbers! Junior Sprint average car count was 23, up from 16 in 2024, and saw a high car count of 28 at McGrewBid.

Connor Gross ended the week with a three point margin of victory over Alex Ruppert for the Speedweek title while Jax Wittmer did his best Brexton Busch impression and swept the week winning all five nights and taking the title as Busch did in 2024.

Eighty-four 600 drivers signed up for 600 Speedweek points standing eligibility, representing 10 states and two countries. PA, NJ, NY, DE, WV, NC, CT, IN, MO, and FL were represented along with two drivers from New Zealand! The Junior Sprint class saw 24 drivers sign up for Speedweek points from five different states: PA, NJ, NY, MD, and NC.
